What happens when I don’t pay my rent on time?

Rent is due on the 1st of the month and considered late on the 2nd. A $50 late fee will be charged on the 2nd and a $5 late fee will be added for each day rent is unpaid.

Is Windscape Apartment Homes income-based?

We are not income based.

Where is the exact location of Windscape Apartment Homes?

We are located at 125 Royal Drive, Madison, AL 35758.

Can I pay rent online?

Yes! We have a resident portal that you will be able to access to pay your rent online.

Are the amenities open 24/7?

Our laundry center, sauna and fitness center are open 24/7.

What is my security deposit for?

It is to hold the apartment in which you have applied for. Once you have moved in, it is then held for any damages and cleaning charges that may be incurred during your occupancy.

How do I get my security deposit back?

You must give a 30-day written notice to vacate, pay through your notice, clean your apartment per your lease terms and turn in all keys and leave a forwarding address. If the lease term is not fulfilled a lease termination fee will also be charged.

Are any utilities already included?

We pay for trash and pest control, if needed.

Can I have pets?

Yes, we allow two pets per apartment. We do not have a weight limit, but we do have restricted breeds.

Can I make interior updates? (painting, mounting shelves, etc.)

With written permission, you may make interior updates, but if a color change is made to the walls in the apartment they must be returned to their original color before vacating.

What repairs am I responsible for if any are needed?

Anything that is not considered normal wear and tear could be charged to you when you move out. This includes items that are not left clean or any damages.

I have been living at Windscape Apartments going on a year now. The staff are awesome and so helpful. If you have a problem with your apartment maintenance comes pretty quick. They have a covered grill area, gym, laundry , vacuum, car wash area and pool. Since Covid started they have even hired this really sweet cleaning lady from Clean Slate, she comes and sanitizes the amenities all week she’s very thorough. Windscape goes above and beyond.
