Galaxy of Lights in Huntsville

For over 25 years, the Huntsville Botanical Gardens has welcomed guests to explore the brilliant light displays placed throughout the gardens during the holiday season. The Galaxy of Lights in Huntsville offers both walking and driving experiences for everyone to enjoy. This is a beloved tradition for all ages and is a Huntsville holiday staple event. To top it off, all proceeds go directly to support the mission activities at Huntsville Botanical Gardens. This event takes place from November 11th, 2021 to November 28th, 2021, from 5:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The driving nights of the event will happen from December 2nd, 2021 to January 1st, 2022 from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Huntsville’s Tinsel Trail

Downtown Huntsville is filled with a multitude of events and activities for the holiday season. The Tinsel Trail is a beautiful display of live Christmas trees that is free and open all hours during the holiday season. Holiday spirit, creativity and wonder will begin to fill the city at Big Spring Park East and West starting November 26th, 2021. During Thursdays, Fridays and Satrudays while the Tinsel Trail is displayed, you will be able to purchase food, drinks and more from pop-up food trucks and local business trailers! The trees will stay displayed in the park through January 2nd, 2022. Make this event a tradition for you and your loved ones!

Madison’s Christmas Card Lane

Madison’s Christmas Card Lane in historic downtown Madison is a true sight to see! Unlike any other holiday event, activity or tradition, the city of Madison has put their own spin on the holiday season. The Christmas Card Lane is filled with 15 colossal Christmas cards that are displayed in front of historic homes in downtown Madison. The Madison Arts Council tasks local artists to create news cards every year. These works of art are a spirited way to celebrate the holiday season, all while adding holiday joy as you stroll through the town.

Santa Train Ride

The North Alabama Railroad Museum is hosting the Santa Train Ride! Ride the train and explore the holiday-themed decorations throughout the train. Children will have a chance to talk to Santa on the train and have their picture taken with him. Once the ride is over, children will receive a special treat from Santa himself! The Santa Train Rides last for 40 minutes with the schedule expanded to include everyone that wants a ride. This event happens every 7 days in December. This year, the event will happen on December 4th, 11th and 18th.

Holiday Art Marketplace

Arts Hunstville will be presenting a new event this year: The Holiday Art Marketplace! This event is a part of the overall Holiday Celebration in downtown Huntsville happening on December 5th, 2021. More than 50 local artists and several artistic mediums will be featured during this event. Stop by for a chance to find the perfect gift for a special someone for Christmas. The Holiday Art Marketplace will take place in front of the Von Braun Center on Monroe Street next to Big Spring Park. Skating in the Park

Living in north Alabama, you can get used to the cold during the fall and winter season, but no matter the temperature during those seasons, an ice skating rink is never far away! Why is that? Because the Skating In The Park event is right around the corner! Ice skating in the fall and winter can be magical, and the city of Huntsville makes sure that magic happens! Visitors can rent skates and scooters to assist those that need the extra help. Refreshments will be available for purchase on site nearby downtown restaurants and more. The Skating in the Park event will happen right behind the Huntsville Museum of Art starting November 19th, 2021, to January 17th, 2022.

What Our Residents Have To Say

Good Location, Friendly and Accommodating Staff. Three-year resident. The property is located a single right turn from the interstate, which makes getting to work easy. The staff work with you if situations come up (in my case, passing of family member). The apartments are well maintained, clean, and the facilities are available at most reasonable hours (the gym and laundry I believe are available 24/7). Will probably end up staying till I purchase a home (whenever that ends up…).
